Muriel O. Schumacher, age 94, of St. Michael passed away on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 at The Legacy of St. Michael.
She was born on August 4, 1924 in St. Michael the daughter of Henry & Helena “Lena” (Haffner) Lenneman.
On June 20th, 1945, Muriel O. Lenneman and Ermin O. Schumacher were joined in holy marriage at the St. Michael Catholic Church. God blessed their marriage with five children.
Muriel and “Ermie” engaged in farming for many years.
She enjoyed puzzles, crafts, playing bingo, gardening and flowers.
Muriel was a lifelong, faithful member of The St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.
Survived by children: Joan (Dave) McCoy of Coon Rapids, Allan (Deb) Schumacher of St. Cloud, David (Kris) Schumacher of Otsego and Janet (Bill) Eull of Buffalo; daughter-in-law: Karen Schumacher of Wadena; 7 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Margie Lenneman; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by husband Ermin O. “Ermie” Schumacher, a son Paul Schumacher, three brothers Richard, Ronald and Howard Lenneman and by a sister Marion Lenneman.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Muriel Schumacher will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at The St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.
Interment will follow at The St. Michael Cemetery.
A visitation will be held AT THE CHURCH on Tuesday, March 5th from 9 A.M. till time of Mass.
Casket Bearers will be Mark and Josh Schumacher, Brian McCoy, Ken Schumacher, Jerry and Gordy Lenneman.
