Elizabeth L. Rausch-Watson was born on November 10, 1937 and passed away on April 6, 2009. She was born in Mahnomen, MN and was raised in Crookston through her teen years, then lived in Minneapolis until her retirement. Liz resided in Monticello, MN where she died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was an exceptional Mother, totally devoted to her family and lived life to the fullest with an unconditional love for all! Liz will be dearly missed and greatly remembered. Her legacy will live on in the family she left behind. She was preceded in death by her father: Marcel Peet; mother: Clarabelle Erickson; brother: Dennis R. Peet; husband: William Rausch (’84); husband: Lynnwood Watson (’99); daughter: Anita Rausch; son: Kenneth Rausch and grandson: Robert Monk. Liz is survived by children: Tony (Robin) Sanchez of Pueblo, CO, Beverly Sanchez of Monticello, MN, Steven Ray (Joyce) Sanchez of Buffalo, MN, Rosie Peterson of Monticello, MN, Mike Rausch of St. Paul, MN, Marie (John) Palecek of Hugo, MN, Steve (Lisa) Rausch of Ocala, FL, Julie (Dan) Stevenson of Elko, MN and Kevin Rausch of Rush City, MN; Siblings: Edwin (Lois) Peet of Bellingham, MN, Arlene Sherman of Crookston, MN, Betty M. (Jack) Bone of Crookston, MN, Linda L. Boerner of Crookston, MN, Ruth Cantlin of Minneapolis, MN, Sharon M. Rausch of Crookston, MN, Joanne (Dewey) Walker of Minneapolis, MN, Jean (Jesse) Moreno of Reno, NV and Cindy G. Yankovecic of Minneapolis, MN; Step-Brothers: Larry and Clayton Johnson of Crookston, MN; Step-Sister: Shirley (Beryl) Radke of Crookston, MN; Also: Raymond Sanchez of Pueblo, CO and “Like A Sister”: Jean Stave of Crookston, MN; many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2009 at 12 noon at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul, Minnesota at 10AM on Tuesday. Memorials Preferred.
