Dianne Marlene Borchardt, age 82 of Rockford, MN, formerly Minnetonka, MN, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Dianne was born on November 6, 1935 in Hutchinson, MN, the daughter of Fred and Evlyn (Martin) Wurdell.

On May 4, 1957, Dianne Wurdell was united in marriage to Walter Borchardt at St. John’s Lutheran in Hollywood, MN.

Dianne is survived by her children, Jeff Borchardt of Zimmerman, MN, Julie (Scott) Jaffe of Isanti, MN, John Borchardt of Otsego, MN; grandchildren, Jacob and Samantha Jaffe, Jack and Marly Borchardt; sisters, Kathleen (William) Walsh of Maple Grove, MN, Gail Wurdell of St. Louis Park, MN; sister-in-law, Shirley Wurdell of Hutchinson, MN; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Evlyn Wurdell; husband, Walter Borchardt; and brother, Gary Wurdell.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 A.M., with visitation one hour prior, at Our Father’s Lutheran Church in Rockford, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gillett Children’s or St. Jude’s.
