Barthel, Cecelia J. (Gnitka), age 94, of St. Michael, died Wednesday. Born to Andrew & Christine (Czech) Gnitka near Delano. Preceded in death by husband, Norbert “Nubbs” Barthel and 15 brothers and sisters. Survived by children, Stanley, Sharon, Sheldon (Marilyn), Stephen (DeeAnne), Susan, Sherwin (Karen), Sidney, and Mark. Also 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Member of Catholic Aid Association and CCW. Mass at noon, Saturday, July 2, at St. Michael Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. The Peterson Chapel St. Michael/Albertville is proud to be serving the family.
