Robert R. Winters, age 53, of Waverly, Minnesota died Sunday, December 9, 2007 at his residence.

He was born on February 19, 1954 in Mason City, Iowa the son of Marvin & Alice Gunter Winters.

He was baptized at Bethel Chapel in Clear Lake, Iowa.

Following his graduation from High School, he attended North Hennepin Vocational School in Eden Prairie, Minnesota for electrical wiring. He was employed for the past twenty two years by N &A Hoffman in Waconia, Minnesota. He served as their property manager.

On September 10, 1983, Robert R. Winters & Patricia Patty (nee Brady) were joined in holy marriage in Mason City, Iowa.

He moved to Montrose, Minnesota in 1985 from Mason City, Iowa and later moved to Waverly, Minnesota.

He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City, Iowa and belonged to St. Paul™s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montrose, Minnesota.

Survived by his loving wife: Patty Winters of Waverly, Minnesota; three sons: Chad Dority of Waverly, Minnesota Jason Dority of Montrose, Minnesota and Rickey Winters of Waverly, Minnesota; a grandson: Dylan; his parents: Marvin & Alice Winters of Mason City, Iowa; four brothers: Larry (Donna) Winters of Godfrey, Illinois, Bryan (Karen) Winters of Sun City, California, Kirk (Carol) Winters of Rockford, Iowa and Rory (Deb) Winters of Mason City, Iowa; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Robert Winters will held on Thursday, December 13th at 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul™s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montrose, Minnesota. Pastor Robert Hellmann will officiate. Interment Riverside Cemetery in Rockford, Iowa.

Friends may call TODAY from 4-8:30 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, Minnesota. A Prayer Service will be held at 8:00 P.M.

Additional services for Robert Winters will be held on Saturday, December 15th at 2:00 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, 805 East Main Avenue, in Rockford, Iowa. Pastor Patricia Shaw will officiate.

A visitation will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 15th from 12 Noon until time of service.
