Lloyd G. Davis 79
Lloyd G. Davis, loving dad and grandpa passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 7, 2011 at Sunrise Cottages of Buffalo, Minnesota.
Lloyd was born on March 23, 1932 to George and Laura Davis in Cosmos, Minnesota.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Harold (Norma) Davis, Roy (Delores) Davis and sister Helen (Duane) Esser.
Lloyd is survived by his sons Lonnie Davis, Bird Island, Minnesota, James L. Davis of Hugo, Minnesota, daughter Dawn (Peter) Miller of Buffalo, Minnesota, grandchildren Tess and Kalby Davis of Bird Island, Minnesota, Nicholas and Sara Davis of Hugo, Minnesota, Matthew and Grace Feinberg, Tobey, Jacob, Paige and Anna Miller of Buffalo, Minnesota, Harriet Davis, many nieces and nephews and his cousin Doris King.
Lloyd was well taken care of by the caregivers at Sunrise Cottages for the past three years and the Fairview Hospice staff for the last six months. Thank you to everyone who touched his life with your knowledge, patience and love.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday September 11, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 pm at the Peterson Chapel St. Michael/Albertville 300 Main Street North St. Michael, Minnesota.
Interment will be on Monday September 12, 2011 at 12:15 p.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery 7601 34th Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota.

    My heart goes out to Lonnie, Dawn, Jim Aunt Harriet and all the grandchildren and nieces and nephews of Uncle Lloyd. May he rest in peace. I have many happy memories of uncle Lloyd. Kathey Davis Dodds

    Deepest heartfelt sympathy to the family of Lloyd. During the last few years he made a lasting impression on everyone whom got to know him at the Cottages. He will always be in our hearts. Blessed be his memory
