Visitation Information
Joseph George Maurer age 68, of St. Michael, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at home surrounded by his loving family. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mathilda (Sauer) Maurer; siblings, Vernon, Cleota and Marvin. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jean; Children, Marcus (Blair), Sarah (Lucas) Hansen, Jonathan (Melissa) Maurer-Jones and David Maurer; grandchildren, Finn and Samuel; siblings, Iola, Dorothy, Ken, Henry, Marcia and Renee; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. Visitation will be from 4- 8 PM Wednesday with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM and one hour prior to service on Thursday ALL AT CHURCH. Interment at St. Michael Cemetery. Serving the family…
