Larson, Gordon ˜Gordy™ J. age 72, of Albertville, passed away peacefully on Monday, 11/12/07 at his home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Esther (McNeff) Larson; 5 siblings. Gordy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Verna; daughter, Cindy (Jeff) Hendel; son, Michael (Pam) Larson; grandchildren, Jeremy (Abbee) Larson, Joseph (Nikki) Larson, Nathan (Kelsey) Nelson, Stephanie Nelson, Corey Hendel, Katelyn Hendel; great-grandchildren, Katrina Nelson and Sean Nelson; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Service 1:00 PM Thursday, 11/15/07 at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Serving the family¦

Gordy was the best boss. I worked 4 wire for him at Lewis Road & the Rusty Tower from 1983 until his retirement. He was a fair, good boss and was missed by many when he retired. He will definitely be remembered.
