Oue deepest sympathies to the family of Digger. It has been some time since we last saw him but anyone with the zest for life that we all knew was in him, will be missed greatly. Lots of memories of the Great Basketball games in Center and around region as well as countless rounds of laughter while we all played softball for Rud Oil. Digger, from the entire Dissell Family, you will be missed and never forgotten!
Kevin, Gwendy, Eric & Ashley
Rest in peace old friend. I’ll miss you and look forward to seeing you again.
With love,
Kenny McDonald & family
Monte, the hunter. That picture of him and the deer is so appropriate, he loved hunting so much. He would tell me when he was home at Center that there were early mornings that he went hunting and then went to work. No problem as Monte always got his job done and was very diligent with every job he had with our company.
I remember while being in Minneapolis one time, giving him the keys to my company pickup and while he was courting Katie he took her to lunch in it.
Sharon and I also share with everyone grieving the loss of Monte.
God’s peace to all who mourn his passing.
Roger and Sharon Parkhouse

We are so sorry for your loss. Your family is in our prayers. We have great memories of duck hunting in Woodworth and attending DU banquets with the Jacobs family.
My condolences to the family for such a loss.
I long to be with you all during this time of deep sadness but instead will have to make do with these few words for today. My love and prayers are with you all, and from afar the tears. God is with you, with us, as Monte is with God.
To the Jacobs family — Katie, Wayne, Roland, Blaine, Brad and Jen and families; We are so sorry to hear about Monte. What a good person to have gone so young. I really didn’t get to know Monte all that well, but I do know that he would have given the shirt off of his back to help others. He was a very good family man and close to his brothers and sister. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this tough time. Love, Greg and Barb Neutz
I would echo the sentiments of Darlene Jacobs. God is with you as Monte is with God. Hang on to those words in the days ahead. You all are like family to me. While my heart is heavy with sorrow, my mind flashes back to all the wonderful times I spent with Digger and inside I smile. I loved him like a little brother and always will. He was unquestionably one of my favorite people and brought great joy, warmth and love to the Rud Household whenever he came through the door. He was always welcome. I’m sorry I can’t be with you right now. I have prior family commitments. Monte would want me to keep these with my girls. Know that I am with you in mind and spirit and know that I will continue to pray for my dear friend Monte and all of you in the days to come. I love you all and offer my deepest heartfelt condolences. Me and girls will remember Monte in our own way on Thursday morning as we travel. May the Lord grant him eternal peace in Heaven and may He grant all of us His unconditional love and mercy as we mourn the loss of our dear friend and loved one. I go back to what the Pastor at my Uncle Curtis’ funeral told us when he died suddenly some 20 years ago, while the earth may be a darker place today because of his passing, rest assured that Heaven is a brighter place because of his presence. Hang on to that thought in the days to come. I’m sure him and Big D are arguing about what game to watch already.
May God Bless and be with all of you. I will see you soon and WE Will CELEBRATE Monte’s life.
Dear Katie, Molly, Ashley, Allison, Wayne, Roland, Brad, Blaine, Jennifer, and all of your family members:

Hi, My name is Laura Dresser and I went to school with Monte and graduated with him. I am so sorry to be sending this so late but just received word from my mother and brother of Monte’s passing. I want to send my prayers to Monte’s family and let them know they are in my thoughts. I remember Monte in high school.
