Mina K. Loberg, age 89, of Buffalo passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Cottagewood in Buffalo.
She was born on January 10, 1926 in Buffalo the daughter of Robert & Frieda (Ordorff) Kubalsky.
Mina graduated from Buffalo High School in 1943.
On January 10, 1947, Mina K. Kubalksky and Harold E. Loberg were joined in holy marriage at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with six children.
Mina and Harold owned and operated Loberg Plumbing and Heating for many years.
She enjoyed crafts, sewing and painting.
Mina was a faithful, lifelong member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. She also belonged to the sewing circle, was the founder of its Country Fair and a long time Church volunteer.
Mina is survived by a daughter: Nancy Loberg, a son: Brian (Judy) Loberg and by a daughter-in-law: Cheryl Loberg all of Buffalo; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; other relatives, friends and her beloved cats.
Preceded in death by her husband Harold, four sons Bradley, Bruce, Thomas and Jay, a great grandson Jack Loberg, her parents Robert & Frieda Kubalsky, two sisters Meta and Hazel and by a brother Vertas.
Funeral services for Mina Loberg will be held on Friday, June 19th, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Pastor Philip Meyer will officiate. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18th from 5-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A Prayer service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Friday, June 19th one hour prior to services at the church.
Honorary Casket Bearer will be Matthew Loberg.
Casket Bearers will be Dave Mangni, Jason Loberg, Jed Loberg, Shane Loberg, Neil Loberg and Cole Loberg.
