Preceded in death by parents Gilbert and Minnie; sister Orlean.
Survived by wife of 68 years Marian; children Cheryl Hanson (Steve), Steve (Cindy), Julie Spike (Kirby); 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Arline; brother Ronald.
Bud served in the US Navy 1943-46 in the South Pacific. He taught elementary students in the Minneapolis Public Schools for 27 years encouraging and challenging his students to be all that they could be with tender love and care.
Memorial Service Monday 7/25 at 11:00 AM at Peterson Chapel, 119 Central Ave. N, Buffalo with visitation one hour prior.
