Michael Weston Martichuski, age 44 of St. Cloud, MN passed away at his home on August 1, 2014.
Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 11 AM at the Church of St. Albert, Albertville, MN.
Visitation on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 4-8 PM with a prayer service & rosary at 7:30 PM at The Peterson Chapel in St. Michael, MN & one hour prior to Mass at the church on Thursday.
Michael was born on November 17, 1969 in Duluth, MN to Andrew & Rose (Peterson) Martichuski. He was very proud to have earned his Certificate of Nursing Assistant. Michael truly enjoyed working with people. He loved his children & his family & loved spending time with them. Mike will always be remembered by his infectious, boisterous laugh.
Preceded in death by his sister, Hope, grandparents, Ellamae and Elwood Peterson; Imogene and Andrew Martichuski, and mother-in-law Barb Rademacher.
Survived by his children, Matthew Martichuski & Hayley Martichuski, both of St. Cloud, MN, Sydney Martichuski of Buffalo, MN; parents, Mike & Rose Martichuski of Minneapolis, MN; brothers, Chris Martichuski, Josh Martichuski & Jeremy Martichuski, all of Plymouth, MN; sisters, Angie (Jamie) Cassidy of Otsego, MN, Holly (Davis) Keller of St. Michael, MN & Kim Martichuski of Cambridge, MN.
I miss you, my brother! I am so thankful for the many, many long chats you and I shared. Of course I will never forget you and your love for life and your true happiness that exploded from your insides in the form of your wonderful laughter! Be sure to ask St. Peter “What’s Up at the Woo-Woo?!” I know how much you loved your children- I love them too! They will be with us, as always, for holidays & family gatherings. I am so glad you are Finlan’s Godfather (I know you were especially proud of that moment). Finny will know you and the wonderful man you are. He will know that he has a special Godfather Angel looking over him. I love you, Michael & miss you. I bet the reunion with you and Hopey was a site to behold :)Rest in Peace, my brother; my friend.
I did not know Michael, but I do know his children, Matt and Hayley. My condolences at this time. May your sorrows be filled with happy memories!
