Michael and I became friends at the Steve McQueen Festival in Slater, Mo. I own the newspaper in Slater and I will miss his notes to me when he renewed his paper each year. He will be sadly missed. Jean

We will miss Michael and we will miss “Calvera”. He made an impression on this town of Slater, Mo., and it was a good and lasting one.
