Jensen, Michael J. age 52, of Rockford died Monday, August 4th at Methodist Hospital following a two month battle with lung cancer.
He was born in Mason City, Iowa on December 12, 1955 the son of Juell and Sharlyene Ulrich Jensen. Michael Jensen was joined in marriage to Karen Stubbe (formerly of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin) on September 5, 1987 at St. James Lutheran Church in Mason City, Iowa. God blessed their marriage with a daughter Brittani. Since July of 1989, Mike has been employed as a machinist at the Eaton Corporation.
Survived by wife, Karen K. Jensen; and daughter, Brittani Jensen both of Rockford, Minnesota; grandchildren, Angel Sheridan and Kody Jensen; a brother, Terry (Ila) Jensen of Northwood, Iowa; sisters, Deb (Dean) Pralle, Jackie (Mike) Hjelle, Becky Gump; and a half brother, Richard (Stacy) Jensen; a half sister, LaRae Rongey all of Mason City, Iowa; his mother-in- law, Frances Stubbe of North Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews further survive.
Preceded in death by children, Shannon and Daniel Jensen, his parents and father-in-law, Willard Stubbe.
Memorial service 11 A.M. Friday, August 8th at the funeral home. Time of gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday morning, August 8th one hour prior to service.
