Michael Dewey Paripovich, age 71, of Buffalo passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 3. He courageously faced cancer with grace and dignity. Michael D. Paripovich, age 71 of Buffalo, MN passed away at his home on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo, MN. Visitation on Tuesday, from 4-8 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, MN. Interment St. Francis Cemetery, Buffalo, MN.
Married to wife, Darla, they lived their marriage vows, in sickness and in health for 51 years to the day. Loved by his five children and nine grandchildren, he modeled integrity and Christian living. His many interests throughout his life included photography, sailing, wind surfing, traveling, bicycling, reading and writing. He was a published author and lifelong scholar. His most recent and long-lasting passion was his Arabian horses.
Preceded in death by daughter, Stephanie, parents Dewey and Frances Paripovich, brother Dewey Paripovich and his beloved dog, Jubilation. Survived by wife, Darla; son Chris; daughters Michelle (Kevin) Thompson, Katie (Tanner) Niemeyer, Sarah Paripovich and nine grandchildren; brother, Loren Paripovich.
