    Joan and I have the family in our prayers. It was so nice to have a visit with Mike and Rita last week in their home. I will NEVER forget playing baseball and basketball with Mike. He will always be our friend.

    To Mike’s family;
    Thank you for sharing your incredible husband and Dad with the St. Michael Catholic School. He touched my daughter’s heart, taught her to play cribbage and always had a big warm smile for her across the pews at Church. Mike will never be forgotten and we will think of him every time we play cribbage. God Bless you all.

    Our sympathy to you, Rita, and the family on the loss of Mike. I have lots of fond memories of playing softball with Mike (he was the BEST!), and coaching Babe Ruth years ago when Brian was a youngster. We’ve lost a great man and friend who spent lots of his time helping others. We are in Des Moines this week and will be unable to attend the services….please know that we are there in spirit! Had the pleasure of working with Mike for 10 years at ERC. Also spent some time at Corner. Sorry did not get to be with family to celebrate his life. I will miss him.
