    So sorry to hear about Mert. He was one of my mentors growing up and taught me many things on the farm. He has been the talk of many of our family gatherings over the years and will be missed. Seems like Mert left a lasting impression on everyone he met in his own way.

    Dear Mary and family;
    My deepest sympathy to you all. Mert was a kind man whom loved everyone he met. He always made the best of each day and always knew how to put a smile on our faces. I am grateful for being able to be a part of his life and his care over the last several years. He will always be remembered in the hearts of everyone at the Cottages. No one will ever be able to fill the emptiness we have been left with. There was and will only ever be ONE Mert. May he now rest in peace. Blessed be his memory.

    To Mary and the family of Mert: I will always remember Mert with a big warm smile at church. My prayers are with you in the days ahead and always as you celebrate Mert’s life and his new life with his Lord and Saviour.
    Love and Hugs, Sandy

    Mert was part of the family at Sunrise Cottages. He is in an even better place now. He will be missed. Carola

    My sympathies to you, Mary, and your family. You were the best sister Mert could have ever asked for. Thank you for sharing your brother with us. He will never be forgotten. I can only imagine how busy he is right now up in heaven. There are many projects he has missed doing lately, but especially reuniting with the folks. Forever a place in my heart.
