Maxine Elaine Decker, 84, of Buffalo, Minn. passed away peacefully on September 29, 2014. Maxine was born on May 12, 1930, in Buffalo, Minn. to Walter and Ethel Olson.
Maxine was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Kenneth Decker; oldest son, Kenny Wayne Decker (born September 29th); son, Richard Decker; and sister, Arlene Miller.
Maxine is survived by: her son, Keith Decker; daughters, Jennifer (Brandon) Wickesberg and Shellie DeMarco; 5 grandchildren, Mitchell Decker, Gregroy Decker, Rachel Kelly, Max Wickesberg, Eli Wickesberg; and one great-grandchild, Braydon Decker.
Maxine was a wonderful and kind person. Everyone who was blessed to know her can find comfort in knowing she is with her Lord and Savior.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, October 2 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Peterson Funeral Chapel in Buffalo.
A celebration of Maxine’s life will be held Friday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior at the Buffalo Covenant Church in Buffalo.
To the family; Maxine was a very kind lady. I was at the house alot when I was young, growing up. She was always very good to me. Her and ken were good friends of my parents and I remember the big get togethers with all the church people. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rest easy, for she is with Ken in heaven.
