Visitation Information

Mary Alice Zachman, age 86 of St. Michael, passed away peacefully into God’s arms on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 at Wellstead of Rogers.
She was born on January 30, 1923 in St. Paul the daughter of William & Alice (AnFang) Dahlheimer.

On August 30, 1944, Mary Dahlheimer & Arnold Zachman were joined in holy marriage at St. Martin Catholic Church in Rogers. God blessed their marriage with five children.

In 1944, Mr. & Mrs. Zachman moved to The St. Michael area. Together the couple farmed in the former Frankfort Township area since moving to the area.

She was a faithful member of The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael and also belonged to its Christian Mothers.

Survived by husband of sixty five years: Arnold Zachman; children: Kenneth (Mary) Zachman of Rogers
Susan (Richard) Fritz of Golden Vally, James (Patricia) Zachman of St. Michael and Gregory (Sharon) Zachman of Albertville; Eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers: J. James Dahlmeimer of Niland, California and William John “Jack” (Peggy) Dahlheimer of Rogers; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by parents: William & Alice Dahlheimer; a daughter: Joanne Zachman in 1962 and by two brothers: Richard D. & Clarence Dahlheimer.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Zachman will be held on Monday, October 26th at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. Father Michael Richards is the Celebrant. Interment St. Michael Cemetery. A visitation will be on Sunday, October 25th from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. A Prayer service held at 7 P.M.
