Marvin Henry Scheuble, age 96, of Montrose passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
He was born on May 19, 1923 in Waconia the son of Alfred G. & Elizabeth (Vossen) Scheuble.
On June 6, 1944, Marvin Scheuble and Ellen Babatz were joined in holy marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. God blessed their marriage with eleven children.
Marvin owned and operated M. Scheuble Trucking for many years.
He also drove school bus for District #877 for thirty-two years.
Marvin was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly and served as a longtime usher.
He was a former thirty year member of The Montrose Fire Department and formerly served as a Wright County Sheriff Reserve.
Survived by his loving wife of seventy-five years: Ellen Scheuble; children: Rick (Shirley) Scheuble of Outing, Judy DeMars of Buffalo, Peggy (Dewey) Cardinal of Montrose, Darlene (Ron) Otto of Winsted, Renee (Dave) Hausladen of Montrose, Jan (Mike) Rasset of Montrose, Gary ( Susan Brannan) Scheuble of Montrose, Debbie (Steve) Loebertmann of Buffalo, RoseMary (Jim) Woitalla of Annandale and Lori (Tom) Stifter of Mayer; 29 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Norma Babatz of Spring Park; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by a son Melvin J. Scheuble killed in action in Vietnam on July 2, 1968, a son-in-law Vince DeMars, a grandson Lucas Rasset, , his parents, a sister Dorothy Scheuble, father in law and mother in law, John and Mary Babatz, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Margaret (Tom) Salonek, Bill (Mae) Babatz Sr., Mary (Charlie) Motzko, Agnes (Joe Pollock) (Del Pfeifer), Florence (Ervin) Cardinal and John “Jack” Babatz.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marvin Scheuble will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at The Church of St. Mary in Waverly. Father Kenneth O’Hotto will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
A visitation will be held AT THE CHURCH on Monday, September 30th 4-8 P.M. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Further visitation will be held at the church Tuesday, October 1st from 9:00 A.M. until 10:15 A.M.
Pall Bearers will be grandsons: Alan Scheuble, Chris DeMars, Jason Cardinal, Greg Otto, Cory Hausladen, Jacob Rasset.
