Marlene A. Kessler, age 77, of St. Michael, MN passed away on Dec 14, 2014 at CentraCare Health in Monticello, MN.

Mass of Christian burial on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 at 11 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, MN.

Visitation on Thursday,December 18th from 4-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael, MN & one hour prior to Mass at the church.

Interment St. Michael Cemetery, St. Michael.

Marlene was born on March 19, 1937 to Matthew & Laura (Lenz) Weber in Minneapolis, MN. On November 28, 1957 she married John A. Kessler at The Church of St. Walburga in Fletcher. They engaged in dairy farming in Frankford Township for many years. She had a green thumb, especially with house plants. She enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles & playing bingo. Marlene truly loved having children around her including grandchildren, nephews, nieces & cousins. She always had the candy jar full! She was dedicated to farm, family & faith. She always put others before herself. Marlene was a faithful member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, John, parents, an infant son, John, an infant daughter, Beverly & brother, Gene.

Survived by her children, Steve (Clarice) Kessler, Kris (Gordy) Goodin, Julie Kessler, John (Lisa) Kessler, Jr., Susan (Dan) Lish; grandchildren, Cory, Emily & Devin; Katie (Tyler) Johnson, Keith, Andy; Logan, Aiden, Jacob & Elizabeth; sister, Pat Kessler; sister-in-law, Phyllis Weber.
