Mark H. Luhmann, age 55, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Nov. 7 from pancreatic cancer.
Funeral service will be held at Our Father’s Lutheran Church in Rockford on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. Visitation on Monday, Nov. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m also at the church.
Mark grew up in Shakopee, where he raised his own family and supported youth basketball. He was well known in the banking community and last worked for Tradition Capital Bank. With his passion for mentoring youth, he became a founding member of the Rockford STRIVE program. His dynamic personality and infectious laugh left a lasting impression on those around him. He will be greatly missed.
Survived by his wife of 31 years, Judy; children, Erin (Derek) and Chris; siblings Debbie (Bob) and Eric (Oskana, sons Andrew and Ryan).
I grew up with Mark. He was my friend. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Our deepest sympathies to Mark’s family. Tom is also fighting pancreatic cancer.
