Marjorie May Wassermann, age 91, of Buffalo, formerly of Gaylord, Prescott AZ, and Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

On April 1, 1925, a beautiful baby girl was born to William and May (Briard) Lindall, who they named Marjorie May. 91 years and 4 days later, she joined her parents, brothers and sisters, and husbands in heaven.

As a teenager, Marjorie worked at the Gaylord Movie Theater and the Gaylord Bank. Marjorie graduated from Gaylord High School in 1943. She worked at General Mills for 18 years, retiring in 1987. She also co-owned a bakery in Prescott AZ, worked at the Rockford Bakery, and worked for the Rockford Public Schools.

On April 18, 1945, Marjorie Lindall married her high school sweetheard, Milton Kuehner, in Winthrop, Minnesota. Like many women of the Greatest Generation, she watched him sail to the Western Pacific, praying for his return. The two were blessed with two children, Diane and Scott. Milton passed away in 1983.

On October 11, 1986, Marjorie Kuehner and Rudolf “Rudy” Wassermann were joined in marriage at Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rockford, Minnesota. Rudy passed away in 2009.

Marjorie was a member of the Rockford Ladies Aid and Lions Club. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, square dancing, collecting elephants and bells; and most importantly, time spent with her family.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Milton Kuehner; second husband, Rudolf Wassermann; parents, William and May Lindall; brothers, LeRoy Lindall, Warren Lindall; and sister, Daisy Lange.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Lynn Waara; son, Scott (Leila) Kuehner; stepsons, Rickard (Carolyn) Wassermann, Rudolf Wassermann Jr., Randal (Eileen) Wassermann, Robert (Lisa) Wassermann; grandchildren, Ryan (Jackie) Waara, Eric (Chrissy) and Mark (Katie) Wassermann, Lydia and Jacob Wassermann, Megan and Samantha Wassermann; great-grandsons, Greyson and Jackson; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services for Marjorie Wassermann will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM with a visitation starting at 9:00 AM at Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rockford with Pastor Michael T. Barlow officiating. Interment will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Gaylord, Minnesota.
