Marjorie Ann Anderson, age 89 of Delano, MN passed away at Buffalo Hospital on December 16, 2016. Funeral service on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11 AM at Buffalo Covenant Church, Buffalo. Visitation on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, MN. Further visitation on Wednesday one hour prior to service at the church. Interment Swedish Mission Cemetery, Buffalo.

Marjorie was born on December 28, 1926 in Willmar, MN to Roy and Laila Johnson. She was adopted by John and Ruth (Swanson) Erickson of Triumph, MN on February 28, 1940. She was confirmed in Trimont, MN at the Evangelical Church. Marjorie was very active in her church and community and was a proud member of the Golden Aires singing group. She was renown for her brownies and for her baking. She truly loved caring for her family and their home.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Erickson, husband Orval, brothers, Vernon and Richard.

Survived by her sons; Kevin (Susan) Anderson and Scott (Elizabeth “Liz”) Anderson; grandchildren, Charles (Alison) Anderson, Michelle (Jace) Emory and Linnea Anderson; great-grandchildren, Bennett Anderson and Charlotte Emory and Piper Emory; brother, Reynold Peterson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.

    Dear Scott and family,
    Sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. I used to visit with your Mom and Dad at Culvers and we’d talk about the good times they had with my parents. Now they are all celebrating Christmas together along with Howard and Eldora. Oh what stories and laughs they are sharing.
