Marion B. Faue-Berge, age 81, of Osseo passed away on Friday, July 29th, 2016 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
She was born on April 22, 1935 in Corcoran the daughter of Fred & Gertrude (Bursch) Bauermeister.
Marion was baptized on May 19, 1935. She was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith on March 21, 1948. Her confirmation memory verse was John 15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me, ye can do nothing.”
On June 19th, 1954, Marion Bauermeister and Gaylord Faue were joined in holy marriage at Faith Lilac Way Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale. God blessed their marriage with four children. Gaylord preceded his wife in death on May 2, 1988.
On January 1, 1994, Marion Faue & Eldor “Al” Berge were joined in holy marriage at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Maple Grove.
Marion was formerly employed for many years by Independent School District # 279. She also was a faithful, lifelong member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Maple Grove.
She enjoyed the Minnesota Twins, playing cards, baking, traveling, ice cream and being with her family and friends.
Survived by her husband: Al Berge; children: Roger (Jeanine) Faue, Randy (Candace) Faue and Rhonda (Richard) Schlegel all of Corcoran and Wendy (John) Filipczak of Elk River; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Howard (Evie) Bauermeister of New Hope, Fritz (Joy) Bauermeister of New Richmond, Wisconsin, Myrtle Gelle of North Branch and Judy (Loren) Marschel of Okabena; a brother in law: Alvin Cook of Rogers; many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her first husband, Marion was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Vernon Bauermeister and sisters Lucille Cook, Ruth Mahler and Lois Manzke.
Funeral services for Marion Faue-Berge will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd at 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9141 County Road #101, in Maple Grove. Pastor Matthew P. Johnson will officiate.
Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Crystal.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 1st AT THE CHURCH from 6-8 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, August 2nd one hour prior to services.
Casket Bearers will be Ryan Schlegel, Christopher and Nicholas Faue, Robert Preuss, Joseph and John Filipczak.
