Visitation Information

Marilyn Janet Ovall 78 of Buffalo, passed away, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Sunrise Cottages in Buffalo, Minnesota.

Marilyn Janet MacInday Ovall was born September 20, 1932 to John and Elsie (Poltrack) MacInday in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois. After her marriage to Herbert Ovall on July 31, 1953, they moved to Minnesota. Marilyn worked as an LPN at Eitel Hospital in Minneapolis. She later worked for the nursing home in Maple Plain. Her hobbies included cooking and sewing.

She is survived by her children; Glen (Mary) Ovall of Elk River, Tod (Sherry) Ovall of Montrose, Karen (Pat) Nali of Jordon and Jodi (Jim) Ankerselt of Maple Lake, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a few nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elsie MacInday, two sisters, Elsie Enders and Marie Kraus and brother Jim MacInday.

Memorial services will be at the Montrose United Methodist Church in Montrose, Minnesota on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ingrid Bloom officiating.

The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo assisted the family with the arrangements.
