You don’t know me, but I lost my first born, Isabelle, in 2003 when she was just 20 days old. I know what it is like to lose someone who is so precious and to have all your dreams and hopes for a child never be fulfilled because they were taken way too soon. I found this poem that touched me and wanted to share it with you.
Angels Are Hard to Find
Author Unknown
When God calls little children
To dwell with him above,
We mortals sometime question
The wisdom of His love.
Perhaps God tires of calling
The aged to His fold,
So he picks a rosebud
Before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
And so He takes but few
To make the land of Heaven
More beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
Still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows
Will always be ‘Good-bye’.
So when a little child departs,
We who are left behind
Must realize God loves children, and
ANGELS ARE HARD TO FIND.
Please take care of one another and know that she will always be with you.
Thinking of you at this time.
Maddie is with Jesus and the angels have a new voice in their song, Heather, Corey and all those she touched, may God send you strength through love with family and friends at your sides.
My heartfelt condolences go out to you. I know Maddy could not have had more loving parents.
You’re in my heart and prayers.
Heather & Corey –
I am so very sorry for your loss. Please take peace with Jesus during this time.

Dear Heather and Corey ~
I’m so very sorry to hear of the loss of your precious little Maddy. No words can express how you must be feeling right now. Try to take comfort knowing that you were able to have such a wonderful little girl in your lives, and to hold her, if only for a short time. She will be well taken care of.
Both of you and your families are in my families’ thoughts and prayers.
