Lucille L. Schaible, age 79 of Howard Lake, MN passed away on Feb. 7, 2013 at Good Samaritan Care Center, Howard Lake. Funeral service on Monday, Feb 11, 2013 at 11 AM at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, MN with a visitation one hour prior to service at the chapel. Interment Glen Haven Cemetery, Crystal, MN.
Lucille was born on November 2, 1933 in Bowdle, South Dakota to Henry & Lydia (Schlepp) Leidholt. She married Delbert G. Schaible in Bowdle, SD on Feb 13, 1955. They moved to Oklahoma while Delbert received his engineering degree. Following Delbert’s schooling, they moved to Minneapolis/Crystal area where Lucille raised her family. Delbert passed away in July of 1990. Lucille was a wonderfully skilled seamstress. She enjoyed cross-stitching, card parties & the daily neighborhood coffee parties. She was a great friend to everybody & had a wonderful sense of humor. She was the best grandmother.
Survived by son, Todd (Michelle) Schaible, Orono, MN; daughters, Ranae Gates, Maple Lake, MN, Becky (Clark) Connell, Ashland, WI; grandchildren, Jamie Gates, Benjamin Connell, Nicholas Connell, Jennifer Schaible & Julia Schaible; brother, Jerry (Corrinne) Leidholt, Pierre, SD; sister, Janice (Danny) Bergeson, Ft. Pierre, SD.
She is preceded in death by her parents & husband, Delbert.
