October 21st, 1938 – Saturday, May 1, 2010

Louis J. “Bud” Puncochar of Remer, MN, formerly of Maple Lake-Buffalo-St. Michael area, age 71, passed away on May 1st, 2010, at the Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.

Bud was born to the son of Joseph and Helen (Bergstrom) Puncochar in Buffalo, MN on October 21st, 1938.

Louis grew up and attended school in Maple Lake, MN. He was a plumber by trade working for M&D Plumbing in St. Michael, MN.

He was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Maple Lake. He continued to be a member for many years.

Bud enjoyed fishing, hunting and simply spending time in the “North Country.”

Louis is survived by his loving family, daughter: Debby (Jerry) Glunz of Buffalo, MN; sons: Randy (Stephanie) Puncochar of St. Michael, MN and Perry Puncochar of Maple Lake, MN; seven grandchildren: Matthew and Michaela Glunz, Adam (Michelle)Puncochar, Rochelle, Joe, Jesse and Jenny Puncochar; sister: Bette (Earl) Kalli of Brevik, MN, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and aunts and uncles.

Private interment to take place in Northern Minnesota.

The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo served the family.
