Lorraine Marion Nordstrom, age 84, of Buffalo passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010 at her residence. She was born on March 31, 1926 in St. Paul, Minnesota. On April 26, 1946, Lorraine Nielsen was joined in holy marriage to Willard W. Nordstrom. Their marriage was blessed with two sons and a daughter. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, handicrafts, dogs and especially The Minnesota Twins. Survived by children: John (Josephine) Nordstrom of Denver and Lynn (Robert) Lueders of Greenfield; three grandsons: Paul, Tom and Dan; a brother: Gordon “Bud” (June) Nielsen of Woodbury; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband: Willard W. Nordstrom in 2001, a son: James Nordstrom in 2002, her parents and by a brother: Walter “Wally” Nielsen in 2009. A time of gathering was held on Friday, August13th from 2 P.M.till 6 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
