Lorraine Keske, age 84, formerly of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, passed away November 30, 2010 in Monticello, Minnesota.

Lorraine was born March 28, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Eugene and Marie (Wetle) Kelly and graduated from Southwest High School in Minneapolis.

Lorraine was a member of St. Albert’s Catholic Church in Albertville. Before moving to Albertville in 1999, she was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in East Grand Forks. She also was an active member of the Bounders Club and enjoyed traveling around the United States with her husband in their Bounder Motorhome.

Lorraine is survived by her son, Gary Keske of Manhattan, New York; daughter Debra and Bob Engebretson of Medina, Minnesota; sister, Eileen LaSalle; grandchildren, Erik and Kira Engebretson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Keske; brother, Jim Kelly; sisters, Donna Peterson, Betty Peterson and Pat Melody.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am Monday, December 6, 2010 at St. Albert’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9am until the time of service at the church. Casket Bearers will be: Erik Engebretson, Tom Keske, Tommy Keske, Scott LaSalle, Dennis Kelly and Kevin Peterson.

Private interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in East Grand Forks.

The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael assisted the family with arrangements.

    Deb, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. My mom just called me to let me know about her passing. It must have been great for her to be able to be so close to her daughter and grandchildren these past few years and great for all of you as well. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
