Lundy, Loretta E. Age 89 of Albertville (formally of 7500 York in Edina,) passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy. She is survived by her children Kevin Lundy (Cecilia) of Rockford, and Donna Lundy Fox (Jeffrey) of Sedona, Arizona. Loretta is also survived by her brother, Ronald Uecker (Joyce) of Buffalo, sister Ruth Uecker of Wayzata, brothers-in-law Archie Lundy (Marjean), and Owen Lundy all of Maple Lake. Loretta will also be dearly missed by her step grandchildren Marie Waschek, Eric Waschek (Kate) and great granddaughter Carlee Waschek, her Goddaughter Jill Johnson (David) and many dear nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. She will be remembered for her calm demeanor, her countless acts of kindness, and for her joyful laugh. The family would like to thank Loretta’s nurses Kayla, Paula, Twyla and the entire Hospice and Engle Haus staff for their loving care.
Loretta was my special lady to visit every Thursday. We had many wonderful talks about her family, Kevin and Donna, her brothers and sisters, and her husband, Leroy. I was with her during this transition; I sang old hymns and read many Bible passages. I will miss her. Peace and God’s Blessing, Toby Moe, Hospice Volunteer
My condolences to Kevin and Donna and their families. I remember well Loretta being a faithful attendee at our Uecker Family Reunions. I give thanks for her life and commend her memory to her children and siblings.
