Lonny Gene Gudvangen, age 51, of Montrose died Saturday, December 29th, 2007 at The Buffalo Hospital.

He was born on September 3, 1956 in Bakersfield, California the son of Alvin & Renzie Billingsley Gudvangen. Lonny was employed for many years in shoe repair. Lonny enjoyed his work, leather working, camping and feeding the birds.

Survived by loving children: Melissa Sue Gudvangen of Hibbing and loving companion Matthew N. Amos and Cpl. Christopher Jon Gudvangen, USMC; his mother: Renzie Rigdon of Bakersfield, California; a brother: Michael Gudvangen of Bakersfield, California; a sister: Lori (Allen) Tate of Bakersfield, California; a niece and a nephew: Sally Jo & Allen; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his father: Alvin Gudvangen.

A Memorial Service for Lonny Gudvangen was held on Thursday, January 3rd at 6:00 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Reverend Del Kurtz officiated.

A Time of Gathering was held on Thursday, January 3rd from 5P.M. until time of services.
