Lois Theresa Price, age 80 of Maple Lake, MN passed away on July 23, 2013 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born on December 4, 1932 the daughter of George and C. Mae (Holmberg) LaPlant.
She married Delano “Del” Price on January 22, 1984.
Lois was a “jack of all trades” who enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, woodworking and a multitude of other hobbies. She was very organized and worked at cleaning homes, Road Runner, Wonder Alls and Tonka Toys. She was an excellent calligrapher. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino but always had time for anyone, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Steve (Donna) Wiczek of Nisswa, MN, Chuck Wiczek of Cushing, MN, Debbie Rosas of Anaheim, CA and Mary Krueger (Byron TenEyck) of Alexandria, MN, aunt Lou Ahlm of Buffalo, MN, siblings Mark (Nancy) LaPlant of St. Cloud, MN, Joan Raisanen of Buffalo, MN, Yvonne Degrar of Burnsville, MN, Kay Bastin of Delano, MN and Basil LaPlant of St. Cloud, MN, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Marlys, son Michael Wiczek, husbands Ralph Raisanen and Delano Price, brother-in-law John Raisanen and nephew Patrick Raisanen.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 4-8 PM at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo. A Rosary will be said at 4:00 PM and Parish Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM. Further visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Buffalo, MN
Casket Bearers will be Brent Wiczek, Jeremy Wiczek, Jason Wiczek, Luke Wiczek, Josh Wiczek, and Glen Raisanen.
The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, MN assisted the family with arrangements.

I am so sorry about your loss. It was a shocker. I remember Lois from years back. Again, I am so sorry to Lois’s family. She will be in your hearts forever and the memories of her will be in your mind forever. My prayers are with your family.
We lost an awesome aunt that had a lot of life still left in her. You and Del will be so missed, gatherings will never be the same. You loved to cook and share your goodies with people and did many things. May we find comfort and peace in Christ to get through this time as we remember you and Del. Rest in peace.

I am so sorry of the loss of your loved one. I have known Lois for about 4 years and we always got along well. I will miss her.
