L. David “Dave” Davison, age 86 of Buffalo, passed away on May 22nd, 2017. He was born on August 27th, 1930, to Lewis and Lucy (Hotchkiss) Davison in Warren, Ohio.

Dave graduated from St. Paul Bible College, then for three years he served as a corpsman in the United States Navy. Later he returned to work at St. Paul Bible College where he met his future wife, Ardella Frei. They were married May 31st, 1958 and lived a short time in Ohio before returning to Minnesota. After completing some additional schooling he was hired by 3M where he worked for 30 years. Dave and Ardella lived in their home in St Paul Park for nearly 54 years. There they raised three children. Dave’s favorite activities included being a Grandpa to his four grandchildren, and spoiling his dog Wheaton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Lucy Davison, and his sister, Rachel Davison.
He is survived by his wife, Ardella; children, Russell (Kim) Davison, Warren Davison, Lanita (Don) Jewell; grandchildren, Hannah Davison, Jovanna Jewell, Isaac Davison, Josiah Jewell; brother, Chester (Phyllis) Davison; and many other family and friends.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, May 25th, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior, at Hope Community Church, 8300 Hyde Ave S, Cottage Grove, MN.
