Visitation Information

Lester L. Weber, age 80, of Albertville died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at The Monticello Big Lake Nursing Home.

He was born in St. Michael on June 2nd, 1928 the son of Emil & Louise Vallerius Weber.

Lester attended High School for two years at St. John’s in Collegeville. He later attended two years at The University of Minnesota Farm School.

On August 13, 1949, Lester L. Weber and Mildred M. Hackenmueller were joined in holy marriage at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. God blessed their marriage with seven children.

Lester owned and operated grocery stores in New Market, St. Bonifacius and in Silver Lake before establishing the Phillips 66 Bulk Plant in St. Michael. He retired in 1980.

He later became a licensed realtor for several years.

Following his retirement, Lester enjoyed woodworking and annually displayed his products at Buffalo’s Craft Fair.

He was a faithful member of The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael and belonged to The Knight of Columbus Council # 4174.

Survived by children: James V. Weber of Minneapolis, Barbara A. (Merton) Auger of of Buffalo, Patricia J. (James) Zachman of St. Michael, Gary L. (Sandy) Weber of Maple Grove, Mark E. (Amy) Weber of Corcoran, Joan M. (Merle) Gales of Sauk Rapids and David J. (Kathy) Weber of St. Michael; grandchildren: Michelle, Bethany, Kristy, Laurie, Ryan, Billy, Joshua, Bridget, Jason, Eric, Sean, Shannon and Brad; great grandchildren: Landon and Claire; sisters: Inez McDonald, Marvel Ebner and Ruth Weber; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his loving wife: Mildred M. Weber and by his parents: Emil & Louise Weber.

A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial for Lester Weber will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 17th at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. Father Jerome Hackenmueller will be the Principal Concelebrant. Interment will follow at The St. Michael Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, September 16th from 4-8 P.M.

Casket Bearers will be Joshua Weber, Jason Weber, Billy Weber, Brad Weber, Eric Gales, Sean Gales and Ryan Auger.
