We were so very sad to hear of Les’s passing. Just a few months ago we were chatting of old times and future plans. He was a fine man and always friendly and gracious toward us. We’ll miss him very much. Our condolences to Mary and all the family.

I graduated high school with Les in the class of 1972 in Aitkin. He was such a kind and gentle person. I met up with him again when his Mom, Inez, was so sick (I was working at the hospital in Aitkin) and would see him there from time to time. He was so proud of his kids and wife. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. Kathleen

I’ve known Les for more than 15 years. Enjoyed our working relationship as well as our mutual love of motorcycles and many great rides together. I will truly miss him, he was a great friend.

I first met Les Pratt on the 3rd National American Legion Legacy Ride. He has ridden every year since. Les was missed on this years ride. The thing about the national ride is that the state is unimportant, we are on a mission, and we become family. I only saw Les once a year, so when the Kansas (the ones he rode with) group told me of his passing, it brought me to my knees. I don’t know how many people in Minnesota knew him, but he had a special place in the hearts of riders across the U.S.A.
