Leon Harold Gerhardt Loeffler

Leon Harold Gerhardt Loeffler, 76, of Underwood, Minnesota passed away at his home on August 30, 2023.

Leon was born December 17, 1946, in Maple Grove to August and Winifred (Harff) Loeffler. During and after high school, Leon worked on the family farm in Corcoran. While farming, he drove a bulk milk truck in the area. He was also employed at C & W Spinning. Leon and Barb moved from Corcoran to their lake home in Underwood. In Underwood, he continued work as a bulk milk truck driver, and as a nurse’s aide in various nursing homes. Most recently, he worked as a greeter at Walmart in Fergus Falls.

Leon had an innovative spirit and enjoyed inventing and creating things. He loved dogs of all shapes and sizes, from his house pets to his Coon hounds to sled dogs.
