Visitation Information
LaVonne L. Workman, age 82, of Princeton, MN, passed away on Saturday, August 21st, 2010, at Fairview Hospital in Princeton.
She was born on August 18, 1928, in Albert Lea, MN, the daughter of Leonard and Lillian Baumann Olson.
On March 27, 1948, LaVonne Olson and William H. Workman were joined in holy marriage.
LaVonne enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing bingo at the nursing home and going to casinos.
Survived by children: Terri Jo (Butch) Dingmann of Buffalo, MN, Denise (Cliff) Klinger of Texas, Steven (Aimee) Workman of Princeton, Scott (Renee) Workman of Carson City, NV, and Kari Binger of Bakersfield, CA; 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; a sister: Lorraine (Willmer) Lakeberg of Stanchfield, MN; a brother: Larry Olson of Key West, FL; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband: William H. Workman, a son: Gerald Workman, her parents: Leonard and Lillian Olson and by a brother: Laverne Olson.
Memorial services for LaVonne Workman were held on Tuesday, August 24th at 1:00 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
A time of gathering was held on Tuesday, August 24th one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
