Laura C. Weber, age 98, of Hassan Township died Saturday, March 1st, 2008.

She was born in St. Michael on March 19, 1909 the daughter of John & Margaret Barthel Lenz.

On June 18, 1929, Laura C. Lenz and Mathias G. Weber were joined in holy marriage in St. Michael.

Mr. & Mrs. Weber engaged in dairy farming in Hassan Township for many years.

She was a faithful member of St. Walburga Catholic Church in Rogers and belonged to its Christian Mothers.

Survived by loving children: Eugene F. (Phyllis) Weber of Rogers, Patricia M. (William Bill) Kessler of St. Michael and Marlene A. (John) Kessler of Albertville; sixteen grandchildren: Wendy (Steve) Gelle of Zimmerman, Connie (Steve) Justen of Rogers, Marlon (Elaine) Weber of Rogers, Valerie (Donald) Heuring of Albertville, Renae (Adrian) Berning of Monticello, Shawn (Michelle) Weber of Albertville, Kerry (Robert) Playle of Otsego, Pamela (Kent) Bjorklund of St. Michael, Nancy (Jay) Knutsen of St. Michael, William P. Kessler of St. Michael, Vicki Dick of St. Michael, Steven (Clarice) Kessler of St. Michael, Kris (Gordon) Goodin of St. Michael, Julie Kessler of St. Michael, John (Lisa) Kessler of St. Michael and Susan (Daniel) Lish of Albertville; forty six great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters: Bernard (Florence) Lenz of Rogers, Edward (Gertrude) Lenz of St. Michael, Alma Lehn of Osseo, Stella LeFebvre of Elk River & Luella Sullivan of Crystal; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Prededed in death by husband: Mathias G. Weber in 1988, parents: John & Margaret Lenz, grandchildren: Roger Weber, John & Beverly Kessler, two great grandchildren: Theo & Jacquelyn Weber, four brothers: Florian, Gerald, Alvin and Bruno Lenz and by a sister: Arellia Dahlheimer.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Laura C. Weber was held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 5th at The Church of Mary Queen of Peace (St. Walburga Campus) in Fletcher.

Interment followed at St. Walburga Cemetery.

A visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. A Prayer Service was held at 6:30 P.M.

Casket Bearers were Marlon Weber, Shawn Weber, Steve Kessler, John Kessler, Nate Dahlheimer and Bill Kessler.
