Laura N. Hillukka, age 22 of Elk River, passed away on Thursday, September 12th at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. She was born on January 12th, 1991 in Coon Rapids, MN to Paul and Joy (Haataja) Hillukka. Laura graduated from Elk River High School in 2009. Survived by loving parents: Paul and Joy Hillukka; sisters: Leah (Randy) Forstie of Elk River and Becky (Ryan) Thompson of Zimmerman; a brother: Daniel (Miranda) Hillukka of Big Lake; paternal grandparents: Wesley and Florence Hillukka; maternal grandparents: Albert and Beatrice Haataja; nephews: Eric, James, and Jacob Forstie, Treyton and Micah Hillukka; nieces: Amanda, Maria, and Emily Forstie, Cora Hillukka, Lydia and Audrey Thompson. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 16th at 11:00 A.M. at The Minneapolis Laestadian Lutheran Church. 13030 47th Avenue N, Plymouth, MN 55442. Visitation will be held AT THE CHURCH on Sunday, September 15th from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Further visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service AT THE CHURCH.
