LaBelle M. Kasper age 101 of St. Michael/Albertville went peacefully to her heavenly home on Oct 23, 2019. Born May 17, 1918 to Emil and Matilda Beaudry in Dayton, she was the oldest of 4 and the only girl. She married Arthur Kasper June 28, 1941 and had two sons, James and Donald. LaBelle started her working career at Munsingwear in Minneapolis, then many years at Albertville Hatchery working for her brothers, Cyril and Earl Beaudry, and finally as a waitress for 35 years at Little Jack’s Supper Club on Lowery Ave, Minneapolis until 72. She loved caring for people.
Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur who passed in 1962 at age 54; brothers, Virgil (Lucille) and Cyril (Dolores) Beaudry; great-grandson, Quentin Pestello.
She is survived by her sons, Jim (Elaine) and Don (Sharon); one brother, Earl (LaVerne) Beaudry; 5 grandchildren, Chris (Lynne) Kasper, Lisa (Glen) Adams, Dawn (Steve) Hickman, Kelly (Antony) Pestello, Shane (Amanda) Kasper; 16 great-grandchildren, Blayne Kasper, Laura (Anthony) Jex, Trisha (Alex) Smith, Ryan Adams, Tiffany (Joe) Lougee, Nicole (Samuel) Pullar, Danielle (Zach) Brown, Courtney (Andrew) Carlson, AJ (Kelsey) Pestello, Vinny (Eva) Pestello, Tino Pestello, IsaBella Pestello, Tanner, Ivan and Grant Kasper; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She recently said to visitors that she is part French and part German, but 100% Catholic! A celebration of LaBelle’s life will be held at St Albert’s Catholic Church in Albertville, MN on Monday, October 28 with a visitation service starting at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the south cemetery in St. Michael. A lunch will be served after the service at the school next door to the church in Albertville. LaBelle welcomes you all!

Whenever we went to Little Jack’s (which was at least once a week), we always asked for LaBelle. She took such good care of us. She was a little dynamo. We were amazed when she was back to work shortly after her shoulder surgery hefting those heavy trays up over her shoulder like nothing. We think and talk about her often. Our sympathy goes out to the family.
