Kevin L. Alinder, age 58, of Rockford died of leukemia on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

He was born on June 27, 1954 in Willmar the son of Wendell & Margary (Ekblad) Alinder.

Kevin graduated from Willmar High School in 1972 and later attended Willmar Vo-Tech for two years.

On June 24, 1972, Kevin L. Alinder and Cheryl Gulbranson were joined in holy marriage in Watertown, South Dakota. God blessed their marriage with two children.

Kevin was employed for many years as a Tool & Dye Maker.

He was a member of The Tripolis Lutheran Church in rural Kandiyohi.

Kevin belonged to the Plymouth Gun Club and was a longtime Junior Member Coach.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survived by loving wife: Cheryl; children: Michael Kevin Alinder of Anoka and Michele Marie Alinder of Annandale; 2 grandchildren: Noah Michael & Sophie Elise Alinder; siblings: Carolyn (Dr. Robert) Elkjer of Portland, Oregon, Ardis Au of Shalimar, Florida, Dianne Abbott of Oakdale, and Dean (Marlys) Alinder of St. Paul; father-in-law & mother-in-law: Floyd & Joyce Gulbranson of Belgrade; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents: Wendell & Marjorie Alinder, a sister and brother-in-law: Barbara (Arthur) Theget.

Funeral services for Kevin Alinder will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 24th, 2013 at Tripolis Lutheran Church of rural Kandiyohi.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23rd from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo and at the church on Friday, May 24th one hour prior to services.

Casket Bearers will be Cory Gulbranson, John Abbott, James Abbott, John Theget, Jason Alinder and Jeremy Alinder and grandson: Noah Alinder and son: Michael Alinder.
