Kenneth Michael Berning, age 59, of Las Vegas, Nevada died March 18, 2009. He was born in Minneapolis on January 3, 1950 to Lowell and Esther (Kasper) Berning. Kenneth was a graduate of St. Michael-Albertville High School who went on to own and operate Berning Water Care for many years. He currently was employed at Home Depot. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Kenneth was joined in holy marriage to Judy Daleiden in Hawaii. God blessed their marriage with a son Tim. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Tim (Kay) Berning of Hanover, MN.; two brothers, Bruce (Jean) Berning of Annandale and Mark (Sue) Berning of St. Michael; one sister, Patty (Gene) Reddemann of Wilsonville, Or.; Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law Melvin and Donna Daleiden of St. Michael; many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 25th at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home from 4-8 P.M. Prayer service 7:00 P.M. Honorary Casket Bearers were: Jerry Schreiber & Jesse Kendall. Casket Bearers were Peter Barthel, Jim Lewis, Bob Phenow, Don Gedatus, Chad Vollbrecht & David Fritz.
