Kenneth G. Daleiden, age 82, of St. Michael passed away on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
He was born on September 18, 1930 in Foley, Mn – the son of George “Shorty” & Angeline “Nellie” Wojciak Daleiden.
Kenny was married to his wife, Dorothy, for 56 years.
When he was younger, he loved to dance especially if there were polkas involved.
If you knew him you would swear he was born with a deck of cards in his hands. He loved to play cards of any kind.
Survived by loving wife: Dorothy; children: Joanne (Lonney) Eckenrode of Brooklyn Center, Conrad (Suzanne) Daleiden of Rogers, Jane (David) Tyson of Eden Prairie and Doug (Toni) Daleiden of Buffalo; grandchildren: Melanie & Valerie; Jesse & Jennifer; Theresa & Abby; Tyler & Autumn; great grandchildren: Alysa, Kyle, Alexander, Natalie, Jullianna, Joseph, Chase, Jade, Rose & Lily; a sister: Angeline Morgan; brothers: George (Julie) Daleiden Jr., Ray (Kathleen) Daleiden, Eddie (Darlene) Daleiden and David Daleiden; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents: George “Shorty” & Nellie Daleiden and by a brother-in-law: William Morgan.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth Daleiden will be held on Tuesday, January 8th at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael.
Interment with military rites Fort Snelling National Cemetery Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 at 12 Noon Assembly #5.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 7th from 4-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. Further visitation Tuesday morning, January 8th two hours prior to Mass at the church.
