Kenneth A. Kasper, age 66 of Rogers passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on February 27, 1949 in Monticello the son of Eldon M. & Bernice G. (Lyrek) Kasper.
He honorably served his Country in the United States Army.
Kenneth was formerly employed as a longtime surveyor for Egan, Field & Nowak, Inc.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, family gatherings and he especially enjoyed his God children.
He was a life, long member of The St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.
Survived by his parents: Eldon M. and Bernice G. Kasper; brothers and sisters: Gerald E. Kasper, Karen M. (Ken) Black, Lois M. (Mark) Paumen, LeAnne A. (Eldon) Martin, John S. (Jean) Kasper, Loren P. (Patti) Kasper, Kevin E. (Shelly) Kasper, Douglas J. (Annette) Kasper and Stephen K. Kasper; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dennis Daluge; and a nephew, Noah Martin.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth Kasper will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 29th at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. Father Peter Richards will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at The St. Michael Cemetery.
Readers for the Mass will be Doug Kasper, Karen Black and Loren Kasper. Gift Bearers will be his God children: Stephen Kasper, Tim Daluge, Kayla Nelson, Destiny Kasper and Cindy Woitalla.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home from 4-8 PM. A Prayer service will be held at 6:30 P.M. Further visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, October 29th one hour prior to Mass.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Randy Johnson, Bill Lundeen, Jim Chouinard, Eldon Martin, Mark Paumen and Ken Black.
Casket Bearers will be his six brothers: Gerald Kasper, John Kasper, Loren Kasper, Kevin Kasper, Douglas Kasper and Stephen Kasper.
Been a neighbor and good friend for over 20 years! Always a smile and a wave. I will remember your sunfish and crappie treats when you returned from Sarah or Pelican fishing with your Dad and Eldy. Rest in peace my friend.
