Kendall Joseph Porter, age 41 of Plymouth, MN and Sarasota, FL, passed away June 13, 2023.

Known to many as “Florida” or “JoJo”, he was born on October 25, 1981 in Sarasota County, Florida to William and Nyoka (Peters) Porter. He spent much of his youth in Florida before moving to Minnesota when he was 27 years old.

JoJo was a faithful friend to all. He was someone you could always count on to cheer you up and put a smile on your face. His laughter was contagious and his presence was kind and caring.

Art and creativity came naturally to him, and he became a self-taught tattoo artist. On the side, he worked as a commercial painter. He had a lot of ingenuity and loved to express himself in his art. JoJo enjoyed watching football, especially the Raiders. He loved spending time with friends, but above all, his family was number one.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

JoJo is survived by his daughter, Alivia Rayne; siblings, Krista, Keith, Kevin, and Kerry; nieces and nephews, especially Emma Rae, Joshua, and Joanna; Alivia’s mother, Amanda; and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Florida. Details to follow.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville. Online condolences for the family may be directed to
