Kellie Anne LaFave, age 50, of Buffalo, MN passed away on August 22, 2023 at North Memorial Medical Center.

She was born on June 28, 1973 in Buffalo, MN the daughter of Roger H. and Betty (Schultz) Kisner.

On October 3, 1998 Kellie A. Kisner and Gerald “Gunner” LaFave were united in holy marriage at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monticello by Pastor Engel.

Kellie enjoyed chatting on the phone, camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survived by her children Zach Kisner, Samantha LaFave and Ashley LaFave; grandchildren Skyler, Maxwell, Emberlynn and Grady; her father Roger Kisner; sister Jennifer (Jason) Klein and their children Annika, Emma, Olivia and Noah; brother Steven Kisner; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband; her mother and her grandparents.

Funeral services for Kellie LaFave will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 1, 2023 at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Monticello.  Pastor Aaron Jensen will officiate.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Buffalo, MN.

A visitation will be held 5-8 PM on Thursday, August 31 at The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo MN.  Further visitation will take place at 9:00 AM at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Monticello, MN.

Casket bearers will be Rodney Kisner, Wayne Kisner, Mark Kisner, Donald Schultz, Paul Schultz and John Coolen.

The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo MN assisted the family with funeral arrangements.

    We are so saddened to read of Kellie’s passing, We know she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Schultz and Kisner families go back many years, Our daughter, Sarah grew up with Kellie at Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Confirmation Class all at St Peters Lutheran Church. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
