Kathleen Mary Kramer, age 76, of rural Buffalo, MN, passed away on Monday, May 31st, 2010, in Brooklyn Center, MN.
She was born on May 7, 1934, in Forest City, MN, the daughter of Anthony “Tony” and Lucille Pennertz Fisher.
Kathleen graduated from Litchfield (MN) High School. Following high school, she was employed at General Mills, and was also a nurse’s aide at St. Mary’s Hospital in Minneapolis.
On September 3, 1955, Kathleen Fisher and Sanford H. Kramer were joined in holy marriage at Holy Rosary Church in Minneapolis. God blessed their marriage with seven children.
The Kramer family moved to Marysville Township (Wright Co., MN) in 1964. Kathleen was later employed at Tonka Toys in Mound.
She was a faithful member of The Church of St. Francis in Buffalo.
Survived by loving children: Sandra Kramer, Debbie (John) Sawatzke, Randall Kramer and John (Kari) Kramer all of Buffalo and Stacie (Scott) Hannah of Carver; twelve grandchildren: Eric and Rachel Hicks, Nicole, Leslie & Jaclyn Sawatzke, Ryan, Aaron, Chelsie and Alex Kramer, Samantha and Jessica Kramer and Ashley Hannah; sisters and a brother: Dorothy Anderson and Phyllis Fisher both of Maple Grove, Dick (Jane) Fisher of Watkins, Shirley Cornell of Maple Grove and Carole Kleve of Cedar; a brother in law: Gary Andreen of Minneapolis; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by husband: Sanford H. “Sandy” Kramer, sons: Mark and Edward, her parents, an infant twin brother: Duane, and by a sister: Mary Andreen.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen Kramer will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 4th at The Church of St. Francis in Buffalo. Father David Hennen will be the Celebrant. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery in Forest City.
A visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. Thursday, June 3rd at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 P.M.
Further visitation will be held on Friday morning, June 4th from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
Casket Bearers will be Ryan Kramer, Aaron Kramer, Alex Kramer, Eric Hicks, John Sawatzke and Scott Hannah.
