June A. (nee Duske) Bodin, age 94, of rural Waverly passed away on Sunday, April 27th, 2014 at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.
She was born on August 29, 1919 in Montrose the daughter of Charles & Alma (Engel) Duske.
June was baptized on October 5, 1919 . She was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith on July 24, 1932 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano.
On November 22nd, 1941, June A. Duske and Earl O. Bodin were joined in holy marriage in Montrose. God blessed their marriage with six children.
June and Earl engaged in dairy farming in Marysville Township for many years.
She was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montrose and belonged to The Ladies Aid.

June was also a former member and Past President of The Q Q Club.
Survived by loving children: David (Judy) Bodin, Dennis (Shirley) Bodin, Nancy (Dale) Daniels, Susan Bodin & Richard (Mary) Bodin; ten grandchildren: Lori Sawatzke, Ronald (Ann) Bodin, Reverend Daniel Bodin, Michael Daniels, Christopher (Gina) Daniels, Melissa Daniels, Nathan (Sarah) Bodin, Aaron (Jill) Bodin, Jared Bodin (fiancé Candace Preston and Andrea Bodin; ten great grandchildren: Brittany Murphy, Rachel Bodin, Katherine Bodin, Brooke Sawatzke, John Daniels, Jena Daniels, Paige Roebeck, Braxton Bodin, Bryan Bodin and Logan Bodin; a great, great grandchild: Brayden Schwindel; a sister: Shirley Bakeberg; a brother-in-law: Robert (Avie) Olander; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by husband: Earl Bodin, a daughter Carolyn, her parents, a brother: Clinton and by a sister: Delila.
Funeral services for June Bodin will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 2nd, 2014 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montrose. Pastor James Grabitske will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Further visitation Friday, May 2nd at the church one hour prior to services.

Honorary Casket Bearer will be Reverend Daniel Bodin.
Casket Bearers will be Ronald Bodin, Michael Daniels, Christopher Daniels, Nathan Bodin, Aaron Bodin and Jared Bodin.
